It's only the first week in October and there is still a long way to go this 2010 cross season. I have my sights set on getting my cat 3 cross upgrade before the end of the season, and the only way to do it is to race.
- Providence has a 2 day CX festival this weekend 10/9 & 10/10
- Mansfield Hollow and Stratton Brook Tobacco Valley race in Simsbury, CT on 10/16 & 10/17
- New Gloucester Maine is the Verge race 10/23 & 10/24.
- North Hampton Verge race 11/6 & 11/7
- Moser farm in Ellington CT on 11/14
- East Hampton spooky cross on 11/21
- Sterling Mass Verge race on 11/27 & 11/28
- last Verge races on my schedule are 12/4 and 12/5 in Warwick, RI
I have two complete months and 14 possible races left to try to ramp up my conditioning, while the days are getting shorter and colder.
At the end of October we will change the clocks back and it will be dark when I get home from work.
ugh.
I'm going to get in as much riding as possible over the next few weeks, since I will be getting lots of time on the trainer in November.
