Zagray Farm - Tractor Show

So I took my son to the fall 2008 tractor and equipment show at Zagray Farm in Colchester, Connecticut. Early in the morning it was raining, and I was a little hesitant about going, but then it cleared up. Despite the rainy and cold weather, we had a great time. My son said this particular tractor in the photo looks like scrap, but many of them were also very nice. I hadn't been to the show in a few years, and the QVEA club has really made great strides towards making the show a great success.

They have old tractors and equipment. I believe some belong to the club, and some belong to local collectors. There is also a swap meet (or flea market) mostly consisting of old tools and parts, but there is some really neat stuff that can be found there...

This large crane shovel was in tough shape the last time I saw it, but look at it now. The club has really done a great job fixing it up. They even gave live demonstrations of the equipment in action! The show is a great time for people of all ages.
